Dreams…

Recently I was given some insight into the dream time. I had a chance encounter with a woman who had studied with a master teacher from the yogic tradition and did her teacher training in 1973 with a woman called Rada. She gave a talk at a gathering near Seattle that I just happened to stumble upon with the help of some Sangha I met in India. She was a master dream interpreter. Her name is Sandy.

She shared some tools to help remember you dreams.

  1. Have a notebook right by your bed

  2. Write “Dream” on the top left part of the page

  3. Put the day of the week under Dream

  4. Write the dream that you remember with the most detail

  5. Write how it made you feel

  6. Pull as many significant symbols from the dream that you can.

  7. List these symbols after your sentences of your description of the dream

  8. See if you can correlate these symbols with anything that is relevant in your life now

  9. Write any conclusions you may have about the dream

Doing this consistently will help you to not only remember more of your dreams, but help you interpret them as well. I have been recording my dreams in my journals for over 20 years. I have a very active dream time and have had some major insights, premonitions, and lucid experiences throughout my life.

What is your dream time like?
