In this workshop, Katrina will go over what Mantras and Mudras are & how to use them. She will practice some Breath practices and technologies with you to access a depth of being and different consciousness states. This workshop is an INTRO to Mantra, Mudra & Breath, Katrina will of over basic practices and functionality of the technology.
Mantra means “mind instrument” or '“a tool for the mind”. Mantras have been used for thousands of years by yogis to assist in meditation, prayer, and re-writing the programmed mind. Mantras are powerful words or phrases that can be repeated to manifest positive change in our lives.
Mudra means “a symbolic hand gesture that has the power of producing joy and happiness”. Mudras have been downloaded from ancient yogis while they were in meditation accessing altered states of consciousness. They have been passed down from teacher to student as knowledge and wisdom. It has been proven that regular practice of mudras not only contributes to one’s overall good health but can be used as a preventive measure as well.
Breath is our body’s autonomic system that keeps us alive. Without breath, we are no longer living. We can learn to harness our breath and manipulate it to heal, reach deeper states of consciousness, transform our lives, and much more! A daily breathwork practice can benefit the mind, body, and spirit through a whole-body approach. I is also a wonderful tool for creating a better sense of self-awareness.
